...being long in need of a restructuring of my tenor sound (and all that comes with that!) - I took the chance of ordering your Espresso piece. You were more than helpful to me over the phone in making my decision, but, as you know, who knows what will happen when that piece is finally peeled from the bubble wrap and twisted onto the sax neck. In fact, my first half hour of playing my new mouthpiece (on my Mark VI 119,XXX) prompted me to cancel several appointments that afternoon because I just could not believe what was coming out of my horn.

Let me stop short of a gush of praise, then, simply to say Thanks - great work!

I have played Links for most of my life with varying degrees of success. Brian and Erik have designed a piece that captures all of the things I love about Links with none of the inconsistencies I have fought. A beautiful and rich sound, balanced overtones, and spot-on intonation are just some of the characteristics I noticed on trying the piece and I am pleased to say that it had become my main piece. I will recommend the Mouthpiece Cafe Slant Supreme to all of my students and colleagues without reservation. Congrats and thanks SO much for the wonderful piece!

I just wanted to let you guys know that I really love my new Bergonzi tenor mouthpiece. I have a 1956 King Super 20 that I've had for years but have been disappointed with mid register stuffiness and a somewhat thin high register. Naturally I tried a bunch of pieces.....and was still somewhat skeptical until a received the piece last week. I played a gig with it last Thursday and it was wonderful. All the previous problems were gone and the dynamic range was widened. It plays well loud or soft and seems to best with Java reeds. I'm sold on your craftsmanship and products. Thanks again,

After some weeks of playing the Berganozi Slant I really have to say, that this is for me the best new mouthpiece available. What a beautiful tone and core it has...reed friendly and the intonation is very accurate. Actually it makes my very early Babbit I got from **** and played for 5 years stay in the closet.

The Soloist Espresso is an amazing mouthpiece and a very good modern piece in the Selmer tradition,It has everything I look for in a tenor piece:Fatness, projection, spread but focused, round airy tone if wanted.Good and even response in all register and especially very free-blowing in upper register without being edgy/nasal. Simply an unique mouthpiece....
